Last Monday we were doing some shopping at Wal-Mart and guess who we ran into? One of our less actives that we have been trying to contact FOREVER!! What a miracle! He came right up to us and was super kind and we set up an appointment and everything! God is amazing! Coincidences don't happen. Miracles do! :)
We went out to lunch with our district last week and before we went in, we prayed for a missionary opportunity! Friends, God answers prayers! We got a miracle missionary opportunity! The cash register lady that checked all of us out is a member. She joined the church in Honduras with her family and then came to Texas and hasn't found the church here yet! Well, don't worry, God will send you the missionaries! :) Miracle!
We were teaching our recent convert, Zack, the other day and we have been meeting with him for about 4 months now. His 4 year old son has never joined us when we pray. He is always busy playing with his toys. At the end of this last week's lesson, we said the closing prayer and when Zack said "Amen" we all opened our eyes to catch his son folding his arms and then his son said "amen"! It was amazing! So sweet! :)
I heard the following quote this past week at a devotional and love it. "The future belongs to those who show up for it". Something to ponder! :)
