Hello Hello! :)
It's official! Missionary life is the BEST THING IN THE WORLD! Wow! It's such a thrilling and exciting time! It's a roller coaster of events every single day and the ups and downs and all around are insanity! I can never guess what the day will bring!
Like yesterday at church. The elders investigator had a seizure in the middle of the 1st meeting (sacrament meeting)! It was crazy! He stood up to leave the chapel and about halfway down the aisle he fell to the ground and started seizing. Luckily we have tons of medical professionals in our congregation and so they were able to attend to him quickly. The ambulance came and took him out. Then he stayed for the second hour and had a seizure again! Wow! Lots of chaos for sure! The ambulance came back and this time they told him he had to leave church and go home or go to the hospital! Well the third hour of church just couldn't be boring and so our investigator had a little bit of a "melt-down". Ha! Yea. We asked him how class was and he started going off about how upset and mad and angry he was and cussing like crazy. We told him we needed to take the conversation outside... not in the church building. He had just gotten a bad phone call from his ex-girlfriend and he was not a happy guy. So we got to hear some language I would prefer not to hear. Ever. Yuck! It was a crazy day at church to say the least!
On the more spiritual side of things! I got to spend a day with my trainer, Sister Haertel, this past week! She is incredible! She came and spent the day with me, back in Hermann Park North, where she trained me. My companions went to her area with her companions. We had a great day together! It was so great to remember all the miracles and success we had together. We spent a lot of time talking about the Bereketab Family! In case I haven't said it enough, this family is amazing! They are such a special family! They have been members of the church for a few short months and their knowledge and testimony and conviction and obedience to the Gospel is unbelievable! They all want to serve missions someday, they do family home evening on their own, they read the Book of Mormon every day and their prayers are so sincere. This family is amazing and I can't wait until y'all get to meet them some day in heaven! :) (I attached a picture of me and the Bereketab Family!) :)
The work is progressing and changing! Christ established a church, it was lost, and now it's back! That's the message I get to share everyday!
With Love,
Sister Kunzler
We're Going to Hollywood! Ha! For our p-day activity last week we did "Houston South Idol" (American Idol)! It was a blast! Hope it makes y'all smile a little bit! :)
