Hey everyone!
This past week was filled with lots of teaching and fun adventures!
We
started talking to these two teenagers one afternoon in an apartment
complex and found out that one of them was deaf! We had a really fun
conversation in sign language about the Gospel! My companion and I
both knew enough to attempt to teach a little bit! It was fun!
We went on splits this week one night. Our
appointment had fallen through and so we asked the member if we could
visit anyone with her that she knew could use a visit. She texted us
back and said "yes, I do! she might be dead though... explain later".
Ha! The member had been sending letters to this lady the past couple
months and hadn't heard anything back. She tried calling. Nothing.
She finally searched this lady's name on the internet and found an
obituary for last October.... eek. So we went by to see if she was
dead... ha. She was. There was a new tenant living in her apartment.
Funny funny!
Something I studied this week and really enjoyed was
the topic of "believing vs. knowing". What things in life do we
believe and what things in life do we know? How to go from believing to
knowing? When is believing enough? When do we need to believe more and
build our faith so that we know? Just some thoughts!
Love y'all! Hope all is well!
With Love,
Sister Kunzler
