Things here in Texas continue to be great! As a missionary, miracles come every day! We had a baptism this past weekend of three girls from Eretria. A very special day! :) These girls are amazing! :) We sang "Come Thou Fount Of Every Blessing" together. They sang in Tigrigna and us missionaries sang in English! The Spirit was so strong in that room! :)
We had great success this past week with finding new investigators. As we work hard (and hard we work), the Lord blesses us, more than we deserve. :) We met a lady named Nancy, from Liberia this past week. She is 24 years old and so very sweet and humble and welcoming. We taught her the Restoration, committed her to a baptism date and left her with a Book of Mormon. We came back the following day, asked her how her reading went and to our surprise, found out she doesn't know how to read. In Liberia, her family didn't have enough money to send her to school and then when she came here to America (about 5 years ago), she wanted to go to college, but how do you go to college if you can't read? Wow. We take advantage of such simple things, every day. How blessed we all are, to be born in this time and in this country, where school is an option and we could learn to read.
Somebody once told me, a mission won't be the best experience of your life but it will be the best experience for your life. How very true that is, as I meet people like Nancy. t's very humbling and life changing.
I love you all so very much and pray that all is well in your lives!
With Love,
Sister Kunzler
