A typical day in the life of me! :) March 18, 2013

Hello Family & Friends!

This week I wanted to write about what a typical day in the life of me consists of!  I have come to realize that based on your area, mission president, mission, companion, ward, etc. that you day varies a little bit.

6:15 am: Arise and exercise for 30 minutes.  100 Workout!  100 jumping jacks.  90 crunches. 80 squats.  70 leg lifts. 60 jumping jacks. 50 crunches. 40 squats. 30 leg lifts. 20 jumping jacks.  run for 10 minutes!  We do this outside in the little "track area" that our apartment complex has!  It's usually quite dark and a little chilly and humid, but it's a great way to start the day!

7:00 am to 8:00 am shower, get ready for the day and eat breakfast!  Yum!

8:00 am to 9:00 am.  Personal Study.  We study for our investigators, lessons we will be teaching that day, Book of Mormon, Preach My Gospel, etc.

9:00 am to 10:00 am.  Companion Study.  We read the missionary handbook, sing a song, (pray of course), talk about how personal study was, role play for lessons to be taught that day, etc.

10:00 am to 11:00 am.  Companion Study.  12 Week Training Program.  We watch The District DVD clips (using our fancy mini DVD player), read in Preach My Gospel, role play, etc.

11:00 to Noon: lunch time!

Don't forget to pray before you leave the apartment.  :)

Noon to 5 pm:  We don't tract.  We visit less actives, recent converts, people we OYM'd (open your mouth), people the relief society, bishop, etc. has asked us to visit and try to stay busy busy busy.  Depending on the day we have district meeting, zone meeting, service at the senior center, etc.

5 pm to 6 pm is dinner time!  :) If we eat with members we eat and then teach the message of the Restoration or Plan of Salvation or any other missionary lesson.  President Ashton has asked us to teach the members the lessons!  Not just share a spiritual thought!  :)

6 pm to 9 pm we visit less actives, recent converts, teach lessons, attend ward activities, read the BOM with members, recent converts, less actives, youth, etc.  Every night is different.  You never know who will be home and who will let you in.  :)

9 pm return to apartment.  Not a minute late.  (return at 9:30 if teaching a lesson).

9 pm to 9:30 pm.  Daily Planning.  Review day's activities, review next day's activities.  Set goals for the next day and discuss anything else you need to.  We set goals for the following things every night.

1. Lessons taught with a member present
2. Other lessons taught
3. LARCS (less actives, recent converts)
4. Referalls received
5. New investigators

9:30 to 10:30 pm.  Write in journal and be in bed by 10:30 pm.  Sharp.  Sleep!  :) Feels so good!

That's a "typical day", which varies widely every day, but that's the basic outline.  :)

I love you all!  Life here is still going great!  Missionary work is always exciting and there is always something new and exciting.  Every day.  :) Never gets boring, that's for sure!

With Love,
Sister Kunzler
