Hello Family & Friends!
This past week we had an incredible lesson with our 31 year old investigator, Jimmy. All week we had planned and studied for Jimmy and driving to his lesson, we still had to idea which direction to take the lesson. We were overwhelmed and had to clue what he needed to hear. About two minutes away, we said a prayer that the Spirit would guide us and we would know the things he needed to hear. Prayers are answered. I have no clue what was taught during that lesson as it was not me and my companion, it was the Spirit. Jimmy really opened us and expressed a lot of concerns and we now more fully understand how we can help him Come Unto Christ. A great miracle.
Our mission goal for the Texas Houston South mission for the year of 2013 is to baptize and confirm 1,000 people. We spent zone conference learning about how we can accomplish this with the Lord's help.
We met a young 19 year old this past week. We OYM'd (Open Your Mouth/talk to everybody) him while visiting a member of our ward and found out that he has been searching for a way to come closer to God and that nobody has ever talked to him about God or Jesus Christ before. The Lord really does bless us, as we are obedient, by using us as instruments in His hand. It was a neat experience.
For Valentine's Day, the sweet senior sister missionaries who live in our apartment complex, heart attacked our front door and me and my companion made a "fancy" meal. Then this morning we all had breakfast together! So great! :)
I love being a missionary. I know that there is work that needs to be done here in Herman Park North by me and my companion and I am thankful that he shows me everyday the work we need to do!
I love you all!
Sister Kunzler
